...since the last time I blogged/posted here.
It almost feels like another life, but that is what happens I guess.
I am ashamed at myself for not doing something in all this time, or should I say, not posting anything this whole time.
I am alive, I think, and still quite crazy, but stuck with a slightly different mindset than the one I started writing Accidental Magic with.
I want some feedback and to that end I would like to know if people out there would be interested in reading the rewrite of chapter one that I finished?
You should be able to easily transition from the new 01 to the old 02, though I am working on that too. Gotta get rid of that shadow at end of chapter 03 that someone might think was Lexi, but in truth is no one that fleshed themselves out later.

I really liked Accidental Magic and would be happy to re-read it if you added new chapters. I'd probably need to start from chapter 1 again so reading a revised version wouldn't be a problem.

I'll admit that of all the stories on here, I tend to have my mind wander back to Accidental Magic the most. (At least, of stories that aren't brought back to my attention via mentions from others, blogs, stories, etc)
There's just something about it that draws the memory at random intervals.
If you want to rewrite, go for it! You might keep the original one in a separate section, for those who want to compare and contrast, as the English teacher used to say.
Glad to see you back, and I hope to see more. If nothing else, there seems to be a _lot_ that can be added to, or done with, the AM Universe.

I just worry that I could not keep a fast schedule on this. I am barely halfway through a redo on chapter two, but I would love people's thoughts all the same.
I should set a goal for this, because I also believe there is more to this story.
I could only dream of being able to say that I created a "universe" and it makes my head swell large enough to make it hard to pass through doorways.

If you leave the original
If you leave the original intact (mark it as 'Original' or 'First Draft'), then it wouldn't matter if you were slow on the rewrite. That's one of my biggest complaints about some other sites. Authors take down the original, start posting the rewrite (slowly), and those who have already read it can't even look back to check their memories of the original.
