Just a question: I was going through my stories, and discovered I had double-posted a piece called "Voiceless". Is there some way to totally get rid of one of these posts, or is the best I can do edit it to just say "double post"?

I can't find such a problem in the listings of your stories. Have you got links to both stories? And if the comments are duplicated too, then what you probably have is a database error reading the cache cause that just can't happen.
