So they are..
I wonder what changed? I took off the compatibility view for this site and they are still there :)

Problem was not here
It was not here, it was a problem with a windows update. :)

Sorry, but that does not compute.
I despise Redmond as much as the next sane computer user, but that doesn't explain why the pictures just came back on my Firefox 3.x browser running on MEPIS 8.0 Linux. My quick look at the generated source in Web Developer on my machine (where the style for the images showed as "hidden, nonvisible") shortly before the miraculous recovery suggests that perhaps the sourcing hostname's IP# wandered into and out of a tracker- or ad-block list.
As long as the problem stays gone, the issue is moot, but it's something to look into if (as Murphy says it must) it comes back.
Happy holidays, y'all.
First I heard
First I heard that anyone besides IE users were having a problem. However, for a short window of time on the 21st, there was a problem with the CDN. If you're Firefox saved the cached the bad address for that particular window of time, it could have caused a problem for a bit longer period. Solved on the 21st, shouldn't still be a problem for anyone.

As Muttley might have said. Now I have to remember that I don't need to open Google Chrome if I want to visit BC and see all the pictures. Bloody confusing, this Interweb thing.
