Remember,

The pen is mightier than the sword.

It is also considerably easier to write with and put in you purse.

Trust me on this one.

Gotcha

Done in my best Kronk voice. My tablet or my small box of index cards with a pen and pencil rides in its own pocket in my purse. Always !!!!!!!!

Hey.

Of course the pen is mightier; lighter, can produce devastating words, and can kill.

I've seen the Jason Bourne movies, don't underestimate the lowly bic in the right hands.

...and don't forget Joe Pesci as Nicky Santoro in CASINO
using a pen to teach a rather rude bar patron to mind his manners.
I'd include a link to that scene on YouTube but it's just plain disgusting.

And don't forget Goldeneye.

James Bond (upon observing the effects of the exploding pen in Q's lab): "They always said the pen was mightier than the sword."
Q: "Thanks to me, they were right!"

Even if it's obsolete in certain situations, the sword will always be a symbol of honor. = )

You obviously...

You obviously don't have a purse like Mary Poppins carpet bag.... :-)

But, yes... I have found that I can carry several pens in my purse... The closest I've gotten to a sword is a light sabre - and some of them don't even fit in the purse, and if they light off while in the purse, well...
