This is one of those stories I just found impossible to stop reading until the very end. Since it has been many years since I read the novell that inspired this story, I can not really compare the two.

This story starts really slow: The TG element is not revealed until the second half! The first half is setting the scene, while the last third starts to build up towards the finnale. And the summit is not reached until the very last chapter. But even so the ending is so well done, that it does not feel abrupt at all.

A great recommendation for all classic romantic lovers!
