On the drive to the mall Julie was talking excitedly about all the new clothes that she wanted to try on and the jewelry that would go with them! As she talked, Johnny was lost in thought as he himself was wondering how he would look in the clothes? He shook his head trying to clear his mind, Julie seeing the movement asked, “Um Johnny are you ok, your awfully quiet and not really paying attention to what I’m saying?”

“Sorry sweetie I am listening to you, I just like to hear the excitement in your voice,” said Johnny smiling weakly.
“Ok but I think something’s on your mind and you know you can tell me anything and trust me completely”.
“I do trust you; it’s just something I have to think about first ok, I’ll tell you soon if I can’t work it out first ok?”
Feeling a little put out Julie replied “Alright.”

The remainder of the trip was silent except for the music from the radio. They pulled into the mall and headed for the first store on Julies list which was one of Johnny’s favorites ‘Victoria’s Secret’. Once inside, they both seemed to replace the uneasiness between them with Julie getting excited again; it was defiantly time for some retail therapy thought Julie. She tried on all her favorites the sexier the better she would show Johnny just to see him squirm.

He loved to see her in her sexy bras and panties but today it just wasn’t as fun as it usually is and he couldn’t understand. I mean even if I like to wear the clothes why can’t I be my usual happy self? He thought, maybe it’s because I’m not supposed to wear mom’s clothes anymore. Is there something wrong with me?
The thought struck him like running into a wall, maybe there was what should he do? Who could he talk to? His mom, she was calm the last time but who knows maybe not to this extent. He could look on the internet but come on you can’t trust all the quacks that are out there. Maybe he could trust Julie!
Coming to the best possible conclusion he caught Julie in between changes, “Hey Jule’s can we talk outside and in private?”

Wondering if this had something to do with the ride over she replied, “Sure, where do you want to go?”
“Um can we go for a ride?”
“Yep let’s go.”

Leaving the clothes there that she didn’t want and buying the three that did make Johnny squirm the most they headed for the car.

Upon entering Johnny turned to Julie “Ok, after we get done if you never want to see me again I’ll understand and take you right home ok.”

Shocked Julie could only wonder what could be that bad. “Are you breaking up with me?”
“Because if you are just take me home, I don’t want to hear your excesses!”

“No I’m not breaking up with you; I can’t imagine my life without you in it!”
Pulling onto the road Johnny headed for the canyon road as he neared the straight away he opened up on the gas and made the next quarter of mile in four sec, he laughed out loud as Julie screamed you would think she would be used to his driving he always drove fast when he could.

They stopped at the overlook that looked out over the reservoir, it was usually quiet during the day but a mess at night when everyone came to play tonsil hokey among other things. Johnny got out and opened Julie’s door, after which he sat on the hood of the car and pulled Julie close to him.

“I love you, you know that right Jules?”

“I love you to, what’s wrong Jonny I’ve never seen you act this way!”
“What’s going on? Please tell me, I hate to see you hurt and act this way!”

Pausing for a minute to collect his thoughts, Johnny blurted “I’m not like other people and by that I mean like other guys, sure I do some of the same stuff but most of the time if I’m not with you I’m by myself.”
“I’ve only ever truly been friends with girls you know that.”

“OH MY GOD, YOU’RE GAY!”

“No I’m not Gay, why is that the first conclusion people jump to good god?”

“If I were gay why would we have been fooling around like we have?”

“Will you just let me finish please”!
