I have been blessed to know a few kitties, but am primarily a puppy person. Have a black Peeka-Poo weighs 2 lb.[Booger]. a German-Shepard-Poodle mix[weighs 10 lb.[Moo-Moo] and her mixed breed daughter 8lb[Snoopy]

Like the wiley recliner chair. Or human laps, particularly with a blanket over them.
Or REALLLLLY slow mice.
They find the litter box 9 or more times out of 10, but they mostly spend their time on just one of the three floors of our house. They do ask to go out on occasion... for five minutes or so.
The call of the fox grass. To chew and urp!
Its a full life... you know.
My dad is much the same at 86 though he is not keen on grass, just driving and fixing up the rental house he bought as a hobby a couple years back.

for me, its the computer chair
and they prefer me to not be in it. I can stand up and take one step away and know that at least two out of three are headed into my seat. They like to sit on my desk, between me and my monitor and just stare at me, hoping I'll move.
As for more kittens, my roommate said he doesn't want more cats than people and I can see that. So I can wait to get a cute kitten

Dogs have mistresses ... Cats have staff.
They look cute now but they'll soon have you trained Sweetie. Just watch.
And always the sunniest, warmest, most comfortable spot. Can't think why she loves the stained glass area. She even prefers the floor to the settee when she thinks we're not there.
