Sorry I've been distracted by my fridge turning up its compressor or whatever happens to deceased cooling units. I had to dash out an order a new one as well as cough up the readies to pay for it. Amazingly, my freezer is still working, so in that regard it could be worse, but the new one won't arrive until Sunday morning - so bang goes my lie in.

I'm also trying to cope with a painful left shoulder and elbow, probably arthritic in origins but at times a real nuisance and distraction. I try to not let it prevent me doing anything and did several hours decorating on Saturday and the same riding my bike on Sunday, but it does get to me now and again. Work seems to be increasing exponentially and if I could do without sleep, life would be less stressful, sadly I can't, so I do get a bit wound up, the cats pressing my buttons whenever they sense a chance - they don't take prisoners.

I've a late finish tomorrow, Tuesday, and I'm out on Thursday - a colleague is retiring - so this week my time for writing is going to be limited. Apologies in advance, but I do lead a busy life beside scribbling for this site.
