I've noticed that as of late the reposting of several stories on BC. How long should one wait before a repost is done. The reason I ask is that I'm tempted to run the Show Me the Money series. Funny thing is that I decided to read the story myself. I hadn't visited it for five years, since posting it, and forgot what a lovely story it is and to be honest forgot most of the characters in the story, and I wrote it. Oh well old age will do that to you, Arecee

General rule for reposting
My feeling is one should wait at least two years before reposting a story, preferably four or more. But there is no hard and fast rule.
If it is a multipart story, one can gather all the pieces together and repost it as one item. If that comes out longer than 10,000 words or so, tho, it's better to just post a storylink or a new titlepage.
Ask more specific questions if you want details on how to do this kind of thing. :)

I for one
I for one think Bike should be reposted in its entirety on a single page for easy reading. Also I think this would make foam come out of my ipad upon loading and that sounds like a fun experiment.

It would be a great real life experiment for sure. I really wonder if any current browser can handle Bike in all it's glory.
Looking forward to the experiment ... hey, it would be a great feature on Episode 2k.

Effectively, Bike is constantly reposted
under the 1 - 2 - 3- 4 year ago today system, though I don't know how many people use this facility.

Being a bit new here, I often read the blogs to see what older stories people like enough to talk about. I've just spent the last few hours reading "Show Me the Money" and I loved it. If it wasn't for it being 0:45am, I'd be off reading some of your other stories that Stanman reconended. Hopefully they will keep till tomorrow. Thanks for writing and sharing. Cheers, Kiwi.
