...Mrs. D and I watched this today. She asked questions in general and specific, including if I would have done something back then if things had been different. Did I wonder about it? How much I identified with my sister when I was five. I told her that if felt more and more like It's a Wonderful Life; that the life I lead now blessed me with her and our son. It was a struggle at the beginning to keep from crying and a relief at the end that I didn't have to 'not smile.' Another step in a wonderful life; she's the best! Thanks for the blog, Frank!
