Even in the US, relatively few wimyn play US football and many more, of all ages, play "soccer". I love watching the Wimyn's World Cup (world football) Tournament.

Can't get into it. Love european football. That USA / Japan game, then the olympic rematch was great fun to watch.
People say, "You don't know what you had until it's gone." Very true, but also equally true is, "You don't know what you've been missing until is arrives."

I never gave much of a concern to pretty much any conventionally male sport either. Especially American Football. Though there are girls who really do... and not just to please a boy they're interested in either...

Who didn't care a rat's ass about Super Bowl what ever the heck it is...
I haven't played the game since I was a freshman in high school when I figured out it wasn't a great game for a 5'8" kid who weighed maybe 120. Especially since I really didn't care which end of the field the ball went to.
And, of course, I ran like a girl! ;-D

I don't watch any sports, I can tolerate soccer and it really is what its called "Foot Ball"
I wasn't a good little boy growing up. I was usually picked after the kid in a wheel chair or the dog. My interest were learning to bake, sewing, and spending time reading. When at age six I asked my mom when do I turn into a girl I was pushed into sports. I did wonderful if you liked being on the losing team. Afraid of the ball, didn't like getting dirty, and spent the time in the outfield with my baseball glove as a hat.
Basketball required one be able to dribble the ball, no coordination. Football putting on the smelly pads turned my stomach. I didn't like showering with other boys so I didn't get involved in sports.
I could run but not for track it kept me from getting beaten up by the bullies.
When I had my parakeet I used the sports pace to line the bottom of her cage.
I'm glad to see I'm not by myself in not caring about the super bowl.

... I'm only in it for the commercials. *grin* Got to see if the big agencies are earning their humongous paydays, or if creativity has taken a vacation from either Coast and chosen to hide in the woods in a retired "spokes character" camp in the wilds of Montana.

When they asked me if I knew what the score was and I had not even been aware there was a game today.
It helped to explain all the customers we had buying chips and soft drinks, though.
