I've been a lurker on the site since just before the the migration to this new site, feels great to finally sign up, have finally decided im gonna transition this year. Anyone else from the south west, exeter area here. Anyway a little about me, was diagnosed with aspergers when i was younger 8/9 but was a big question mark with possible gid im 30 now, and this was when i was around 9/10 i think seems so long ago. But due to my parents splitting i burried myself within myself if that makes sense and have stuggled ever since.

After finally getting to speak to a new pyscologist at the end of last year and she confirmed what i have always felt that i have gid and aspergers. I felt like a weight had been lifted from my body (i wish that was pyshical as well) after talking with her, and she has recommended that i get in touch with my gp and get a referal, got my appointment with gp next thursday, feel so anxious/excited/scared i was at this point 5/6 years ago after speaking to my then gp, who was rdy to refer me but i had to end up moving and had some family problems brother got mugged and had to do a police statement via video so i never got up the courage to persue really wish i had though.

So yeah nice to finally have signed up, and looking forward to start posting and getting to know everyone better.
