Just handed off Being Christina Chase chapter 53 to my esteemed editor Holly. Man, everything takes longer than you think it does, but it's just about done. I have one final chapter to bang out and we're off to the races.
Not that it means it will get posted right afterwards. I have to incorporate all of Holly's hard work and see if she calls shenanigans on anything. And I have to bribe Seph to set up a publishing schedule and write some synopses cause I'm pretty sure I don't remember how to do that.
But for my three fans, just another mini heads up that the end is neigh.

I've Read What's Published Again
I'd forgotten how funny and witty some parts of the story are. I'm really looking forward to the concluding chapters. I sure hope Diana gets hers.
For those having trouble remembering the story ...
The last chapter posted and available here was chapter 44, so that means Krunch is not trying to wrap things up in just a chapter or two.
But he did not want to post a couple of additional chapters and then create another long hiatus.
The chapter I will work on this afternoon, is chapter 53, which means there are already 10 more chapters in the can, with an eleventh to finish the wrap-up. That will be 2 more than was originally planned 52, way back in March 2007 when chapter 1 was posted. And a word of warning, he may not post as soon as I get Chapter 45, as he plans to go back over teh unposted parts and work over my edits a bit before posting.
Maybe though, you can talk him into posting the final chapters a bit faster than one per week? That is what Melodie Thomas has been doing with the end of her story, 'Stolen Innocents', once the end was inn sight.
But I think it is wonderful, that unlike so many stories that have died unfinished, this one will finally reach its end.
I've stayed in long periodic contact with Krunch, and know he has always planned to complete it when the crush of real life gave him time to do so.
Of course, once he finishes chapter 54, maybe he can do a sequel?
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Glad you're admitting to 50% more fans this time around.
Nice to hear things are moving along, even if slower than you'd expected. It's not for pay, so if we tried to doc yours 50% for being late, it wouldn't hurt.
(I do understand delays due to that thing called Real Life, as well as waiting for editor input. I've had a piece out for quite a while... And, I fear it must have been REALLY BAD for the editor to take this long. Oy...)
