First off, the cheap plug that today is my birthday. I am 38 and 1 depending how you look at things. This will be my first birthday as Katie and that's something to celebrate in and of itself.

I know I haven't been active. I knew that was going to happen with people in the house. The computer is on the t.v. and I can't monopolize all the time. Currently I am editing my new novel and am over half way done. Hopefully by February I start rolling it out the way I want.

Life is going amazingly well. (STOP THE PRESSES, KATIE IS DOING GOOD). Sure, I have some mental hiccups now and then, but nothing in my life is bad. I am living as Katie and everyone knows. There was no backlash, no one disowned me or anything and outside of a lack of a wardrobe, it has been the best thing I ever done.

Now, here is something I didn't expect. I am on the verge of being in a relationship. I never saw that one coming. I met a F2M through Dorothy (thank you, thank you, thank you) and we are really hitting it off. We talk on the phone every day and I had my second date with him today. I drove an hour to meet him at his house. We had a wonderful time talking and laughing. We did some hand holding and such, but are taking things slow. Being myself in a relationship is really working out for the best. He tells me I am attractive and that I am safe, and who am I to argue. I am starting to realize, for the first time, that others find value in me. I can't tell you how awesome that is and how it makes me feel.

I wanted everyone to know that I am alive and I am well. Now, let's roll out those birthday wishes.
