To all concerned parties,
I've been unable to access my Yahoo! mail. It seems that even though I know my ridiculous password, Yahoo! would like me to recall various security questions such as where I spent my honeymoon. Since I'm not married, this question has proven to be a stumper.
So in case anyone has attempted to email me and not gotten a response, it is because I'm ignoring you. Using my powers of security question forgetfulness. Even though I promised only to use those powers for good.
Anyhoo, hope to have a new blog post soon re: the conclusion of one of the least popular stories on the site. I bet I'll get that done before anyone sees new Arrested Development.

I must disagree with you.
As I remember it, your "Being Christina Chase" was last posted 2/28/2008, well before things like Kudos. I believe the story was one of the very popular stories on the site at the time. And then you left, giving no explanation. I have my own personal opinion as to why you left, but will keep my own council. I would happily read further episodes.

Clearly it's a trick question with the answer being never married or haven't had one. Reminds me, my other half and ai should have a honeymoon one of these days. Only been married for around 13 years.
I think Yahoo asked me
I think it was Yahoo! that asked me for a stupid identifier like "name of your first boyfriend". And I was like, wait: the name of the first boy I kissed, or the first boy I dated, or the first boy I went on more than one date with? Or my ex husband? Who knows?
Or maybe it was my first pet? Would that be my parent's dog? Because that wasn't really my pet. There was the goldfish, but that didn't really do anything except swim around until my cousin put a toilet roll in the bowl. Maybe it was the hamster I had in second grade, that got eaten by coyotes (true story, we lived in New Mexico for a while). Or the cat that hated me and always peed on anything I owned that was made of leather. I'd like to think it was the dog I lived with when I lived in my first share house, because I really liked that dog, but that wasn't actually my dog, so I would have been lying to Yahoo! if I'd used that as the clue. And of course I almost never lie to major corporations.
Which is why I don't have a Yahoo! account any more.
Anyway, that identity thing is ridiculous. You are the one, true, Admiral Krunch. Kudos to you.

when this happens
someone has hi jacked the account. When you are on the sign in page where they keep asking for the weird responses from you, just use the can't sign in button and then go around the regular sign in and re-set your password and then once in, change it again. When it happened to me, a couple of months ago, every time I tried to sign in, it wanted a phone number from me. This all happened because of yahoo in the first place. With their new set up, instead of showing the last set number of emails, it shows a set number per page and you have to page through them. I opened it and deleted the spam and junk, and instead of showing me the remaining emails, it just displayed the last few on that page, as I opened and dealt with them, it popped back to the prior page and just continued showing me emails as I called for them. So I did not see a spam until the email opened. Even though I deleted it without doing anything, just openeing it let them get my password and address book, they then changed my password to theirs. Getting tricky in their should be short lives.
