I had my first story posted on the fourth of October 2004 on Sapphires Place, the first episode of Snafu - a confection of New Age, transgenderism, military, medical and the occult. For some reason readers liked it, and I'm still writing it, although a conclusion could be emerging eventually.

Then I had a go at a Gaby fanfic, which Maddy bell liked and I did some more, that has since turned into a trilogy, book three is still going with a new episode due to be posted anytime.

Meanwhile back at Sapphire's, I started another story, just a basic rite of passage story for a young teen who initially is forced into a female role, but who quickly adapts and prefers it. Okay, it was contrived at the beginning, but after that, I consider it my most serious writing, exploring emotions and depth of character way beyond any of my other stories.

I went on in this vein for some time until last July, when I played with an idea that I was going to describe on a blog, for some reason I wrote it as a light hearted comedy instead, direct to the website and Easy As Falling Off A Bike happened. It wasn't planned and I certainly didn't believe it would run this long.

Since the first Snafu, I have written over 300 episodes or complete stories, I suppose very much a question of never mind the quality look at the output. Prolific or what?

On the whole I am blessed, insofar as stringing words together has never been a problem, I'm not sure it's a talent because there are people of whose writing, I am in awe. I don't know if I will ever achieve that level through laziness, although I think my standard has risen probably through practice and guidance from one or two friends who see mistakes I miss.

I suppose I have to plead guilty for taking up server space on three or four websites, I've enjoyed it, I hope you have. Thanks to all my proofers and editors and all my friends for keeping me at it.

Happy three hundred.

hugs,

Angharad.

Congratulations only 700 more to go

At this rate you should be able to make a thousand in 13 or 14 years.I'm looking forward to reading about Cathy in her early thirtys.Since you have so much work to do I'll keep it short.Lol Amy

I think you're off on the high end

Amy,

If you look at the rate of publishing, I think you'll find that she's accellerating (Cathy's help no doubt). If she can keep the pace with Cathy, and occasionally put out something a little more substansive (like Charlotte's Tale). She could well break 1,000 in under three years!

Congrats Angharad. It's a milestone anyway. YOu have quite a long way to go to catch up with the number of BOOKS published by that guy named Asimov. :-)

Keep them comming, and I think you'll find folks keep on reading them.

Your right

Your right if she keeps putting them out everyday and like many others I'm hoping she does.I'll still stick with the 13 or 14 years tho as I'm looking forward to enjoying her work as long as she writes it.Amy

jealous and in awe

Angharad, I'm jealous and in awe....... 300 stories/episodes. I'd be lucky to write half of that, and only a portion of that is dribble.

You are a great author and I enjoy your work very much. I look for new postings everyday......... and I'm not talking about your acheiving the law of gravity while straddling a two wheeled vehicle. :)

A.A.

yeah, awe-something.
