Writing update

Since finishing 'Destiny', I've had trouble writing much of anything. I think I was mentally exhausted from rounding off my longest work yet. Strangely when I wrote 'Facades' I was convinced that my issues were over. I actually wrote the first draft in under twenty-four hours and had all the revisions (thanks to Maggie Finson and Beyogi) done in probably about twelve hours. The grammatical edits still had to be done, but other than that the story was finished. Upon completing Facades, I found that I was still struggling to get anything written. Facades touched a highly personal issue and it covered a subject that I'd been wanting to cover for a very long time. Perhaps that's why the words came so easily to me.

Yesterday, was the first day in over a week that I managed to write more than a hundred words in a single day. Oddly, I didn't keep track of the word count as well as I usually do, but I think I got out about 1000 words out. I'll be happy if my day today is half as productive as yesterday.

I'm actually working on a sequel to 'Hunger Pangs' tentatively titled, 'Appetite for Seduction'. Yesterday brought the total word count up to over 5400 words I have no idea how long this one will be, but I'll more than likely break it up into 4000 word or so chunks like I did with 'Hunger Pangs'.

I've also created both a title image and a cover image. Both have similar designs to the ones I created for 'Hunger Pangs'.

Writing is what you do when you put pen to paper, being an author is what you do when you bring words to life

Thanks...

Thanks, I've had years of practice, but really there are folks that are much more talented than I. Really it's not that hard to get started, there are loads of tutorials on the net and I think a lot of folks are capable of learning how to do it. You should see some of the early images I made with photoshop... some of it makes me wince just looking at it.

Have delightfully devious day,

Looking forward.

To the new works being offered. I enjoyed your previous DRU contributions immensely so I am getting ready for a great treat.
