I was thinking about the "it gets better" videos, and wanted to throw out a challenge:

Write a "it gets better" story - preferably autobiographical, and then, we put them together and publish.

Thoughts?

Challenge accepted....

What would the deadline be? That more than anything would dictate whether or not I could embark on such a project.

in terms of a deadline

My idea would be to have them all made by next year's TG day of Remembrance - gives some of our more pokey authors a shot ....

opinions

Once again you all get to hear from a real old (71) fart who is very opinionated, What I have trouble understanding is just what business is someone else sexual preference. It sure isnt any of my business & I cant see where others should let it bother them one bit.. I went off & fought so you all may have your freedom of choice among other things.... So if someone is bothered by your preferences...Send to see me & I might be able to explain how its yours & no one elses business

While I haven't gone off and fought myself....

That hasn't been for lack of trying. I couldn't enlist due to medical issues but more than a few of my friends and family have enlisted. Firstly, Papabru, thank you for your service. Secondly, if any of them don't listen to you then I ask you to send them to my neck of the woods. I know a few twenty somethings who are still enlisted who would love to get their paws on such people. >:]

Peace be with you and Blessed be

Mmmzz not really going better

Mmmzz not really going better ... although the question is, is it about the fact I'm post-op, a lesbian or have a slight mental handicap??

Hardly a subject to spoof...

...a series in the context of this site meant to encourage men and women who are transgendered from the personal and autobiographical perspective of the author can hardly be something to spoof. More of maybe a heartfelt "I know what you're going through, since I've been there" approach? I don't feel capable of providing such a perspective, as well intended as it might be, since I have hardly any experience regarding that aspect of being transgendered myself.
