I went to a brunch today with kids from my graduating class at a grill and began talking about stories I had written and posted on line. My family knows I write stories and I've told them where to go to read them, but no one ever does. and mentioned my I'll be home for Christmas story to one of my class mates, we've been mates ever since kindergarden and she was amazed I would write fiction such as this and be a conservative. I mentioned that being a conservative had more to being self reliant than having government take care of you. That aside , as I told the story of Cynthia I found myself tearing and almost unable to talk.
