... are fairly common these days. It pretty much depends on her overall health, fair to good is okay, and the condition of the veins they need to harvest.
Don't give up hope! My prayers are with her, as well.

Your momma will need that strength to get through, I went through the same thing four years ago with my mom, at that time she needed a bypass and a valve replacement (she was 82 also), she survived the proceedures and lived for three more years so it is possible! Hugs & Prayers Taarpa
