My mom passed away quietly last night. She wasn't well enough to survive surgery and had multiple organ failure, so after they removed the arterial assist device she peacefully passed away.

Every loss is personal
And every one hurts in a very personal way.
Virtual hugs are all the comfort I have to give.
So, hugs,

I'm so sorry....
I lost my own mother to cancer back in March, so I have a pretty good idea what you must be going through right now. Even after all this time, it's hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that I no longer have my mother to chat with, joke with and vent my frustrations to. I'm here if you need to vent.

So sad but for the best
It may sound trite but sometimes death is for the best.
It is only because we have so much emotion invested in loved ones that sometimes we don't know when to let go.
It was her time as it was my mother's some seven years ago.
Still it hurts when I remember but it is a good hurt.
Remember and honor your mom.
Take time to grieve.
Maybe write a story about her. Much of what I have written has bits and pieces of my memories of mother. Or aspects of her quiet, quirky humor and her love. There is some truth in the idea that as long as somebody remembers you are not truly gone.
It does get easier... eventually.
Small comfort but it is all I can offer.

I would love to say...
It gets easier with time. It has been 12 years since my mother passed away on july 29 at 11:15 pm.
Every year on the 29 I fall to pieces and cry buckets over her grave long after everyone else in my family has stopped visiting. I know your pain.
Sending you hugs
Because you can never have enough hugs from friends, especially now.

my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Big gentle hugs
Sometimes when it is time, it's time. I know that doesn't help the hurt you're feeling, but she will always be with you in your memories of the good times you had together.
Many blessing upon all who knew her.

Words are not enough
My Mom had several near death experiences, before her passing. Death had no fear for her, it is not the end.
Your Mom had a gentle end, surrounded by people she loved. I hope that can bring some comfort.
My condolences, hon
And a passel of hugs for whenever you need one.

The hardest thing in life,
is to have to say goodbye forever to loved ones. Please take comfort in knowing that you did all you could for your Mom, and that she knew how much she was loved. God willing you will see her again. Until then, please accept all my love and hugs and the hope that you will feel better, in time.
My sincerest condolences,

My thoughts and prayers
Paula--
My thoughts and prayers are for your mother, and for you. After being moved by some of the comments from the BCTS community, I can add no more but to refute Shakespeare. Mark Antony was not entirely correct: The good that men do lives after them.
And even more so with mothers!

Was reading older post and
Was reading older post and saw this. Sorry to hear about your mom..My mom passed away in 2007 after a long illness. She finally had gout throughout her whole body before the end. After all these years, I still miss her more now than I did when she first passed away. We dont realize how much we love someone til they are gone. Hold your head up and remember all the good times and never forget.
