27 years is a good run. Here's hoping for more
You are barely to the half way point.
Mom and dad had almost 26 more years to go at their 27th.
My aunt and uncle, dad's older sister are nearing 66 though uncle's mind and health are failing.
My dad's parents made it almost 70 years.
My mom's parents made it 50.
Hers's wishing you two many more.
John in Wauwatosa
P.S. Remember the secrets to a long marrage. It starts with love and desire, the joys of family, devotion, knowing the best things in life need to be nurtured and most of all, the greatest and most enduring reason... not wanting to give the other the satisfaction of leaving them.
No hitting!
P.P.S. Having a really GOOD sense of humor is a godsend, absolutely. It sure helped the couples I mentioned and they needed it in the dark days of their times together.

Congrats
Congrats to you newlyweds. :-) (My wife & I celebrated 31 a few weeks ago.)
May you both continue to enjoy the love you so obviously share.
Annette
P.S. Let me guess - you pictured yourself looking like Julie Andrews as you sang that - not Christopher Plumer. :-)
That's wonderful...
Congratulations my friend,
OLe

Andrea and Tracy,
My lovely wife and I have been together for more than 36 years, and counting. It's like a great wine, in that it only gets better with age. So, you kids have a lot of joy ahead of you. Treasure this time you have together.
