and I still am. I have been suffering with some kind of cold or virus since about April 15th or so. I've tried all the tried and true remedies with little to no appreciable improvement. I've missed a couple of appointments at the VA clinic, and have been too disoriented to attempt to drive there to hopefully get any relief from this whatever it is.

As soon as I feel able, I will get there and get some antibiotics or something to help me shake this miserable thing. I refuse to drive when dizzy or aching too badly to move and there is no one here to take me to the clinic. I'll be okay, I'm sure, but I don't know when. Until then, my presence here will be minimal at best.

My apologies to those with whom I usually communicate, and to the few who were enjoying RECKONING. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything having anything to do with writing or even moving much beyond going from my room to the bathroom and back.

I'll be back when I can be.
