OMG

Erin, my heartfelt sympathies go out to you and your mother at this time. I pray that she gets better. Bob and I will watch over BC so please do not worry about it. Worry instead about your mother. All of us at BC wish her a speedy and well recovery.

I hope that

this doesn't mean I HAVE to behave while you're gone.

Well wishes, prayers and thoughts to you and your mom, Erin.

I'll try to be good, but just until you return.

...only moreso! "Mom", "hospital", "stroke or kidney failure" are not things one wants to see in the same blog. My heartfelt prayers, and

~~~hugs, Laika
A Small Update
Erin says that the Doctors believe its a kidney problem and not a stroke. So with that bit of news, I'll continue to pray for her recovery and Erin's health as well from the stress.
They're going to keep mom overnight
She seems to be doing well but they want to do more tests. This was pretty scary because she woke me up in the middle of the night yelling out the front door that she couldn't get out. I'm glad she couldn't figure out the latch on the screen door!
I got her back to bed because she seemed a bit better when she talked to me but in the morning she didn't know who I was or where we were or where her family, her brother, sisters and parents, had gone. She got a little better by the time I got her to the hospital, recognizing it and knowing her name but she didn't know the year. She kept wondering where my brother and her father were and even asked me to go look for myself a few times. I think she thought I was my aunt for a bit.
She got steadily better in the hospital but they are going to keep her for the night and maybe most of tomorrow at least.
I'm pooped, I've had about twenty hours sleep in the last four days so I'm going to a friends house to crash.
Hugs to all,
Joyce (Erin)
Remember your first duty is to care for yourself, she needs you to be well.
