You Would Be Quite Fortunate
Kristina is one of the better story tellers on this site. Her offer should not be ignored as she can be a wonderful resource.
However, I've found it very educational to send my stories to two or three editors to get their perspectives. Let them know up front as some find this annoying. If they agree -- you can learn quite a bit, quickly.
