Washington becomes 7th US state to allow same-sex marriage, as Gov. Gregoire signs bill into law Olympia, Wash., USA
+KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reports that Gov. Chris Gregoire has signed Washington State's gay marriage bill into law. The measure takes effect June 7.

Civil Unions
Delaware is not so bold, they passed a civil union bill but I doubt they will ever passs same sex mariages. Maybe a few more bumps from the Gay community and they may get the message.

...we have 'Domestic Partnerships' in New Jersey. Like everything else except for traffic circles and annoying reality TV shows, we lead the nation in being a day late and a dollar short. Our governor (you can have him if you like) has vowed to veto any 'same-sex' marriage bill that crosses his desk.

Meanwhile in New Jersey...
The state's Senate has just voted 24-16 to allow same-sex marriage, and according to The Huffington Post the Assembly are likely to vote the same way on Thursday.
However, the State Governor has apparently pledged to veto the law if passed, apparently preferring instead a referendum.
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
If there was a smart politician...(I know...)
They'd use. "This is the United States of America, We give people rights and freedoms, we don't deny them."
A statement like that would be hard to argue with in public.
