I was really depressed when she told me to go away. She stopped talking to me too...
Yeah. It really sucked.
I'm a bit better now, but alas...
Unrequited love hurts...
No matter how hard,
or how much I wished,
I couldn't make you love me,
and now I realize this.
People tell me,
"Give Up!" or "Stop trying...",
and now I listen,
and now I realize this.
I see now,
that it will never work,
that I should just give up,
and just be alone...
Forever...

Danielle, I Have Read All Of Your Poems
You write from the heart. I too have been rejected by a girl that i loved. But i know that true love will prevail in the end. take your time and that special someone will come along. Me, my special someone can't marry me because she has to be there for her mother.

well, poetry is personal
Mostly. Unless you can tap into some universal feeling it's hard to connect. A couple of these were really nice, a couple... yeah, ok... I guess that's why poems seldom get a big response, read wise. You had to be there...
Still it's worth the attempt and it can be great to just do it and get something out there. It can be scary and poke at all sorts of tender spots, but... well ya just gotta go for it...don't ya. I know I do. Keep on doing Danielle

I noticed that after like, 2 days I had like 400 hits!
So I guess poetry is a big thing to read but like you said, there has to be a universal feeling for people to be able to comment on it.
