Glad to know there's another chapter of Mistaken Girl coming. Like everyone else, I'm wondering where that little comedy of errors is actually heading.

As for the makeup hon, been there, done that. Most cashiers honestly do not care what you're buying. It would hardly register (ha ha, bad pun alert) to them. Even if it does, most people make their own assumptions. You're buying it for a sister / girlfriend because you were running out anyway, or whatever. Even if they try to make conversation, which most cashiers won't, you are under no obligation to say anything sweetie. I've bought a lot more embarrassing things then makeup at the store. The fear really is just something you need to work though. The only exception I could think of is if you live in a super small town or something.
