Little Katie, aka K.T. Leonard, is in the hospital in Florida with a bloodclot in the lungs. They think. Unfortunately, she has medical contraindications for the usual treatment for this condition, blood thinners, and she is in a lot of pain. She's been staying with her pastor lately, she's a Christian, and she would appreciate any prayers anyone might wish to make on her behalf.

Oddly yesterday and today I re-read Little Katie's Summertime Pinks and greatly enjoyed it.
Little Katie is an excellent story teller and I was happy to hear a few monts back she was returning to us after some unfotunate legal problems. Now a health issue looms it's ugly head.
Blood clots are potentally very dangerous, I wish her well.

Out of the hospital
Katie's out of the hospital and is feeling much better but will have to take blood-thinners for awhile. She's looking for work in the Tampa Bay area, so keep the good thoughts and prayers headed her way. She's also mailing me some of her stories for posting. :)
