Since my writing has ground to a halt, I was considering submitting part 1 of my latest piece as a way to break through writer's block. What would you guys think of this idea?

I would
I would like to help if I might. Proofing, helping editing, whatever you need. I like your stuff, so I would be gentle, if not easy.
If you are interested PM me and I'll send my email address, or we could do it through this site (warning, my HTML is very rusty).
I played D&D in college 30 mumble years ago.
Writers Block
I think most of us have had to deal with writers block at one point or another what works for me is geting back to the basics, I do this by going back to the stories that inspired me to start writing in the first case.
This usually means that I have to take a break from my writing for a bit and devoting sometime to reading, usually when I do this it doesn't take long before my creative juices start flowing again and I find a new direction to take the story too.
