Just thought I would let people know. We're still going through some personal issues. My work schedule has changed and I'm trying to spend as much time as possible with my kids before my son goes to Afghanistan in a couple of months.
Because of the change in my work schedule, I rarely have enough time to devote to writing as I'd like (one reason you sometimes see typos in my work is that I'll try to write as much as possible in a short time and know real private and personal place to save them).
I am still wrestling with where to take my story "Chloe," and I don't like to leave a work unfinished. That's among the reasons I've focused more on short stories lately.
I still have a few new ideas floating around, so maybe once time frees up, maybe my muse will be a little more active. I am also considering a "Switching Playing Fields/On the Flip Side," sequel and maybe even a sequel to one of my oldest stories on this site, "Forever Claire."
Just wanted to let you guys know what's going on. And in the brief times I'm able to come have enjoyed the stories I've read, especially from Drea, who rights with such depth and emotion I only wish I could halfway capture.

Hope and well being returns
I wanted you to know you have not been forgotten.
I hope your boy's deployment has gone well. I know the news says we are pulling troops but that is always said months if not years before the real recall. My father was under fire outside of war times.
But, I also have a marine friend of the family that was in Iraq a few years ago and often did not see enemy troops for weeks at a time. So, peace is not safe and war, is not 100% hell, but the separation is.
So, know that your though of for a time at least and that life keeps going to the end of time.
