Can I ask if anybody been in contact with Angel in the past two weeks or since they had all those severe storms in North Carolina. I was just curious as I had not seen her on the net since the storms there? Richard

She does tend to work too many hours, and often goes into hermit mode...so it is hard to tell...we won't just let her fade away :)

always bragged to me about the black bears that came right up to her back door to look for food, etc. I would infer from that that she is a bit out from big civilization, and may have lost her web access from the storms, plus she comes and goes quite a bit on her own.

Truth is I just got out of the hospital yesterday at 2:30 pm. I'll be on the mend at home for a few months before going back to work.
Lucky for me I live in the mountains of western NC and not the flatlands that just can't seem to escape these severe storms. Tonight though, we are expecting a huge band of severe storms that just might hit us here. It is rare for us in the mountains to get hit with tornados, but we just might be the target tonight. Keep your fingers crossed!
The last thing I need is to just get home afer three weeks in the hospital to get hit with a tornado or two with damaging hale and high winds. LOL...
It just doesn't happen here though, so I'm filled with confidense that we will escape all this crappy weather once agian. We get the thunder, the lightning and sometimes the hale as well, but very very rare to get visited by a tornado.
