The Daily Wail does it again. Apparently this one wrote a book about herself, so is I suppose fair game. I wouldnt have thought 60 was that old - or is that all about personal perspective - the closer you get the younger it seems?

It is always interesting to see how the papers that are quick to condemn dig out the stories that their readers are 'disturbed' by. Private Eye sums it up as "This is disgusting! See pages 2, 4-6, 8-19..."
I was in seeing my own doctor yesterday, as part of the never-ending process, and I wish I had had this one to show her.
Terminology
The article itself appears to be fairly neutral - mainly fact reporting - but from the way it's worded, the "France's oldest TG" claim would perhaps be better rephrased "Oldest known person in France to undergo transition". As for the comments, only two people have bothered commenting on the article so far, so it'll be interesting to see what happens when more Wail readers look at the article. Of course, it doesn't help that they published two pictures of Colin and only one of Chloe.
