In the past few days, my short story turned serial turned novel, No Obligation, has gotten a lot of attention. We're talking many more hits per day than usual, with the first chapter easily scoring over a hundred hits a day.
I did a site search, wondering if someone had mentioned the story in a comment without my being aware of it, but there was nothing. Not that I'm not grateful for the attention, Powers That Be, but ... does anyone know why my favorite child is getting noticed? *grin* Inquiring minds want to know.

your story
maybe its people who picked up the series somewhere in the middle, and now are going back to the beginning? Its a good story, as I recall....

I''ve always liked it, but hmm…
Do you have a print copy floating around? What about (especially) an epub?
I've been thinking about ...
... publishing No Obligation as a print book and an eBook, but I'd need to learn how to format it properly. I have been working on a sequel, and was thinking about publishing that one in multiple forms as well ... once it's done. Of course, being a procrastinator of the highest order, neither of those trains of thought have left the station. *grin*

A Sequel!
I don't know about why everyone else is reading No Obligation right now, but I'm going to re-read it to prepare for the sequel :).
Well,
I re-read it two weeks ago, and kept meaning to ask if you'd made any progress on an additional story (I don't think it has to be a sequel - there's lots of ways to do it where it isn't a continuation of the first story itself. Just with the same characters).
I didn't comment because I did my comments the first time around :)
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
The sequel I'm working on ...
... is a new adventure for the Advocate and her friends, something hopefully worthy of Becca's abilities. *smile*

Someone on the forum posted a link to No Obligation. It's how I found it. After I finished it I went back and read all your stories. With the possible exception of "Surprise!" I loved them all, and "Surprise!" wasn't bad.
So, all the submission dates are 1½ years old. I left a comment about this on the last story on the list. I am truly hoping to see more of your work, you have a new fan.
A word about No Obligation, since Becca and Jack started off as the same person, is Jack also sort of the Advocate? Might be a story there (hope, hope).
