Hi everyone.
I was struggling since before Christmas about coming out to my family and it was eating me from inside. I was a mess for a while and afraid of what would they think of me and how would they react. Finally a little over a week ago I came out to my parents and my brother. Their reaction was much better than I hoped for. They are still a bit skeptical about me being transgendered but they said they will support me whichever path I choose to take. I was even surprised by my brother that seemed to take the news pretty well. My father seemed to be hit the hardest but said he will love me either way.
Now I hope to be able to officially start my transition soon.

You've just started.
It's a long road girl and there'll be many emergency stops, hairpin bends, steep hills and rta's (Road Traffic Accidents.) but drive carefully, take your time and always think ahead. You'll have already done enough thinking astern (What ifs, if only I'd; and would it have been better if I'd?)
