What a Day!
Up early to get my son to his Positions final for Radiography at nine. Then back to pick up Mrs. D. for her knee surgery... same day...whew! Then back to pick up son after his final. Then run errands...then back to Surgical Practice to pick up Mrs. D. I sat across from her as she rested; asleep from the anaesthetic; the surgery was a huge success.I closed my eyes and wished we were walking in a park or sitting having coffee at an outdoor restaurant. Crying a bit over what can't yet be but still hope may come to pass. I opened my eyes and beheld the love of my life and fell in love all over again... Another 25 years? Maybe with Mrs. D. finally getting to know Andrea a bit? But I love her with all my heart. Happy...sad...bittersweet...grateful ...joyous...What a day! Andrea
