Pakistan is hardly a progressive state is it? But a hijira cricket team - now that is revolutionary, maybe we should organise a match? I can bat and bowl a bit - any volunteers for wicket keeper?

That's the position I always went for ...
... when forced to play with a hard ball at school. Mainly because as wicket keeper I got to wear those thick gloves and pads though we merely giggled when looking at the solitary 'box' in the bag of supplied kit. It was also less boring than long leg and less suicidal than silly mid-on :) So that's two of us.
