The wahabist madrassas in the northern tribal areas are little more than indocrination centres to reinforce the oppression of women and hirjas.
Islam is like any other monetheist faith it's ok when taught by it's prophet (or prophets if you include also Abraham, Moses and Jesus as they are mentioned in the Koran but the Wahabist obscenity is akin to the old Inquisition of the catholic church.
Both brutalised women and they continue to do so. (Does the pope allow women priests? Why not!)

Just look at the fundamentalist bigots in the Southern Bible belt of the US. For God's sake, they still legally execute 14 year-old-children in Georgia, USA with due process of law.
Even their so-called Christian Churches are divided along racial lines, just how unchristian is that!!!
