I was just thinking ...
... that I should get back to Mal and company. I spent a chunk of today working on a new story, but I'm thinking about turning my attention back towards the mystery of Flynt, and whether anyone on that misbegotten moon will smile at Jayne's crotch. *grin*

I am confused, and that is big big truble in River City. OK, on the Movie, "Serenity", did Wash get killed? Now it was on Randa's story where Wash came back as a woman, right? But not in the movie right? Geeze, Randa's story is so well written that what I know about both just seems to run together.
My mind is so clouded with three viewings of Avatar 3D that I have very little room to remember anything, and I am getting ready to go see it again on Friday! Yikes, I can't believe I just wrote that! Is it crazy to go see a movie three times? How about a fourth?
You see, I hafta go until I learn how to say "I see you" in Navi. :)

the movie, just the series, and that only after reading her first fanfic. I was a bit shocked when Wash did get killed. Most of the rest came very close to dying. It was in the fic she came back.
From what I understand, the series was cancelled very early, for some reason, and fan suport demanded the movie was made afterwards, so the movie was not a pilot as I thought it might be.
You can rent it in the Vid store.
When I first saw it on TV, I thought it was sort of lame. But then when I rented it at the store, it made a lot more sense. I think maybe that so much was cut out on TV that it lost continuity. It is really high quality, I think. I just wish that Randa would get busy and write a lot more. :)

They showed Firefly out of order ...
... when it was on TV, and didn't show the pilot until right before they took it off the air, so folks were probably confused from the start.. *sigh* Stupid Fox didn't realize what the heck they had -- probably still don't.
Started the next chapter yesterday night, even though I felt like death warmed over. The words came easily, like they always do when I write for Joss's crew. I'll keep pushing on (along with everything else I've got in the queue). *grin*

Well, if you are big Firefly fans and into other Joss Whedon things then you might want to head to Kentucky on the 6-8 of August for the 2nd Annual Whedon-fest. It should be a lot of fun. Last year one of the auctioned items was a Jayne Hat, and there were a huge number of other things given in raffles and auctions. We even had a showing of Serenity.
