Bob Arnold and I (or at least one of us) will be in the chatroom this Sunday for at least two hours. What should we talk about?
I've got some suggested topics:
TransGenre Fiction: The borders of the possible, why not break some rules?
The Christy Awards: Is it time for a prize for the best TG fiction?
How to Write Good: BC authors share insights, methods and tips
TV or not TV: TG Fiction, TV Fiction, TS Fiction, is there a difference?
TransCuriousity: Transgender Sensibilities in the Mainstream
Pick one or suggest one of your own!
See you then. :)

One thought maybe pre-chat as a posting here...
Would be a who's who list. Some people know each other quite well, and others are newbies as to who does what or who is an author vs a reader (although I'm sure authors are all readers too). It could be part of the chat room names like "wolf-pup (reader)"
As for the chat itself, I wouldn't mind talking about Commenting etiquette is there anything that should NEVER be said?
I have always had ideas for stories, but I'm not good on painting scenery as it were (The room was cluttered with a smell of wood and mold)...are there folks looking for writing partners?
Also, I would like to know how to do those chat room hugs and such?
FWIW, it's been since the BBS days when I tried to step up and be a vocal participant vs a lurker, and I'm feeling my was as I go. I'm trying to decide if I want to attempt a blog bio for myself..
Ok, enough rambling...

Ok, I'm in!
Sorry I couldn't be at the last one, but I didn't have enough advanced knowledge of the chat to be able to swing a few things so I could attend.
I'm looking forward to the chat, but I hope people are better behaved than I heard from your first chat session. (Smile)

We were all ladies and gentlemen or something along those lines.
Randalynn and Gwen did get into it over aspects of forced fem if I recall right but it was informative and friendly combat.
Much of the night was useful dialog about BC, Stardust, Beverly's Balcony and how to make them better. Several described how they write or why and Amelia_R gave everyone oatmeal raisin cookies -- sadly they tasted flat on my ink-jet. Oh and a lot of sillyness -- geeze, I wonder why?
Erin and Bob hardly ever broke out the steel rulers to smack across the backs of our hands.
I'll try and make it, hope you can too.

It seems these things take place at bad times for me. So despite the fact that I'd like to sit in and possibly learn something, I know before hand that once again I won't be able to make it. Will there be any way to view a transcript after the fact?

When would be good for you?
Chat after this coming on is planned to be scheduled as convenient for East Pacific readers, will that work for you?

Seriously, I'm a midwesterner whose evenings are reserved for family time. Anything that would be considered later in the evening US Central (usually after 10 or so)is my writing time, and I could do something then. If there's not a way to work out a schedule, I'd still like to read a transcript after the fact if possible.
Saying all that, I'm not sure what I would have to contribute. I'm not exactly the brain trust here :)

How to right gooder?
My Lordy... what rumors get spread about. Randalynn and I barely fluttered our fans at each other as ladies are entitled to do. As Harry Truman said, "If you can't stand a stiff breeze, stay out of the kitchen"..or something to that effect. Randalynn, do you read how they speak of our ladylike conversations? I personally am feeling a bit faint.
Oh, tomorrow is another day.

All the topics look good
I kind of favor number one though.
Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of--but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards.

Sounds Good
I agree, number one seems as good as any to start on.
In my Timeout sillyness, I've thrived on TG/sci-fi convention and occasionally twisting it.
Sounds like fun and useful
Jillian, how Middlewest are you? I'm 120 miles south and slightly East of the Frozen tundra of Green Bay down here in Wauwatosa, an incestuous Milwaukee suburb.

I'll try to be there but ...
... the 7pm start does coincide with the Sunday episode of 'The Archers' so I may be a little late ;O)
As for topics I quite like 'How to write ... good' Well, well, well how about that?
see you all (or should that be y'ahl?) on Sunday

Oops
There was me thinking I'd join in... when I realised I've miscalculated the time a little - about 26 hours. I have severe doubts about my ability to crawl out of bed at 5am, you never know though...
