I'm trying to find a story about a man who is dressed up as a woman for a business party. at the party he is put in a strange pod and transformed into a woman. he is then married off. She steals the secrets of the pods and runs away with her children and give the technology to the public allowing people to be transformed and to live very long lives. It is similar to JullieOs Fruit of the Vine in some aspects.
Let me stress this, it is not jullieO's Fruit of the vine, The one I'm looking for is much longer and darker.
Thanks

Oh, ummm
I was sure it was an Aardvark story, but just had a look and if so it's gone along with a few others. Don't know maybe someone has it on file or even Aard himself will respond.

Aardvark's stories.
Checked out Aardvark's stories on fictionmania. the one I'm looking for is not there. Thank for trying.

It was by aardvark but the name eludes me at the moment
I have it on my old computer.
It was his responce to Julie's Fruit of the Vine as he felt the hero'heroine gave in too fast, that she accepted her unwilling transformation too easily.
I forget the title for the moment and for some reason it is not posted here anymore or at Stardust or FM.
I hope arrdvark reposts as it was an excelent compliment to Julie_O's oddly disturbing yet romantic tale.
Possibly if you write him he can send a copy. A lot of his writings are missing. I hope they return as Erin and co migrate the older versions of BC to the current site. I think they were lost when Shoe Boxen went down.

A Mistake to Remember...
...the story that you are looking for is "A Mistake to Remember" by Aardvark, published by Big Closet Top Shelf in late 2006.
I tried to find the story again, but couldn't. I guess that Aardvark must have pulled the story from Big Closet. Sorry.
