Prologue
Taylor Insurance was the company I worked for. I still work there; my reasoning for that phrase was because while still physically a company, the way it’s been run has changed drastically over the years but please let me explain the whole thing. Taylor Insurance was a small insurance company in the East Village of Manhattan, the company was found in by Thomas Taylor my now deceased former boss. Mr. Taylor might have not been considered the brightest Bulb business wise selling insurance in the poorest part of Manhattan at the, but the company has surprising survived all those years. Mr. Thomas had an idea to open small branches in upstate New York where having a car is practically a necessity and dumped the profit here in New York City so basically all the position here in The East village was customer service and a minority of sales and accounting position, I was in sales. What’s that? Aha yes I guess haven’t properly introduced myself. My Name is…Was Derek Keith and you couldn’t tell by looking at me but I was salesman. I was a 30 years old 5’11 190 pound Man.
