Okay, here's what I told Sephrena last night:

Before I left the hospital, she was stable and "sleeping normally" which is the doctors' way of saying "not in a coma".

Not going to be able to sleep

My partner is back in Chicago. No one to cuddle with.
My sister is connected to beeping monitors. No one to check in on.
I'm way too pumped full of worrywart-flavored adrenaline to sleep, anyway.
Oh, and ICU visitation doesn't start until 4pm.
