I apologise for my inadvertent posting of the wrong chapter of The Jekyll Legacy, and can only plead extreme fatigue, as I've been out rearranging the garage all day. I managed to toss my brain into the dustbin and have only just ran out and collected it before they hauled it away.

The Jekyll Legacy - Slight Delay

I appear to have disrupted my connectivity for a bit, until I can put things back together at least.

I apologise for the delay. I stepped on a tack, you see, and spun around, fell flat on my backside, and collapsed my little Internet accessories table.

Nothing serious, aside from embarrassment, but I have to suss out how to work a screwdriver to put the table back together.

Sent, as one says pretentiously, from my handy iPhone.

(and it is awfully handy sometimes, but I can't quite bring myself to post an entire chapter using my thumbs)

Having noticed (and envied) the success of Daughter to Demons, the US SyFy network (available through many cable providers) has brought out a SF/F series named Lost Girl whose protagonist is a Succubus. Copycats...

As a reminder, 'Neath Quicksilver's Moon will be unpublished today. It will be submitted for eBook publication tomorrow on both Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble, but both outfits "vet" their submissions before final publication, so I can't guarantee when they'll appear. I'll supply a link to each venue when they do appear.

As mentioned at the start of the public (free) publishing of the completed version of Jaye's Quicksilver story, it will be unpublished on the tenth of this month, in preparation for publishing in several formats. I encourage anyone who wants to save it as-is to use the "printer-friendly" format button on the title page for the series to grab it all at once. It's yours to keep, a gift from Jaye and me. I think he would be pleased. I know I am.

Thank you for all your comments and kudos.

Daughter to Demons, the second of four stories by Jaye Michael I'm completing on his behalf and at his request, started posting today. It seems particularly appropriate to the days leading up to Hallowe'en and the days of all saints and the dead, respectively.

The last series was posted as a marathon, very rapidly, in order to get at much as possible out in the world as quickly as possible. This story will have a more leisurely publication schedule, once a week or more, depending on what else is happening in the world.

Almost the end...

This is the formal end of our journey into a possible future, although there’s a tiny epilogue still to come, already written, which will be posted at about this time tomorrow. This ‘last’ chapter is a long one, 15,000 words or so, but the epilogue is very handily short, so they shouldn’t be too dreary if one thinks of them as a unit.

As many of you know, Jaye is very ill, although I haven't heard from him in a while. At his request, I'm working to finish his story, retaining as much of his vision for it as my poor skills can manage. I have no information other than this to offer, nor any way to contact him, and can only assure you that his stories will be finished (in fact, that last two chapters of this one have already been written, it's just a few in the middle that are missing)
