Bob and I reorganized the BC software to improve performance. It took a bit longer than we thought it would but now it appears to have improved performance 5% to 30%. :)
Staving off how soon we need a real upgrade to the server for another month or two at least. Hoo boy.

Not to put a fly in the
Not to put a fly in the ointment, but I've noticed a few problems.
1) the list of authors on the right hand side of the default template shows up and then disappears and shows up almost randomly when you click on a link to the front page. The center stuff is always there, the "online users" module is always there, but the module directly under that one is only there about half the time. Most times the "in memoriam" module is the next one down.
2) on the left side, a similar problem is happening with everything below the Google ads module that is below the recent blog posts. The whole new comments part is on and off at random depending on some X factor.
Interestingly enough, these two problems seem to occur with each other, not independently. Not sure if it is anything you can fix or not.
( and I found out about the authors list thing I was talking about before. mea culpa as I was looking at one of the other site themes, not the default one where everything can be seen at. )

What I see, is that the authors list. and comments disappear when you leave the main page.
Also, the authors list is not there unless you are logged in, at least in my case.
One of the most difficult things to give away is kindness.
It usually comes back to you.

Those things are turned on and off due to how many people are on the site at peak times.

It seems to have helped, I was able to get the PDF Swimming With the Sharks which had not worked no matter how often I tried before. So in that purely practical sense and in the general yay one, ya done good. Thank you for all your work
