need motivation

I could really use some motivation. That is one of the downsides of not posting stories regularly while you work on really big projects, you hardly get any feedback.

As of late, sales on Amazon have suffered. Seems people have found stuff more to their liking, but that's okay, I still have faith in my ability and think several of my TG novels are some of the best literature out there.

So, here is where I am at. I am in the editing stages of the fourth God Bless the CHild book. This takes place as Jenny and Shawn are about to graduate high school and before he is allowed to propose, Chase makes Jenny tell Shawn about her past, biology included.

Are people interested in seeing where these characters end up. I am 28 chapters into editing (out of 77) but I have more scenes to add, which is odd for me because usually editing for me is taking things out. I have side stories to add and some cleaning up to do, a few continuity issues as well. I am thinking I'm a month away from finishing. I am also doing the biography and have several titles planned.

Planned titles:

Behind Closed Doors - about a shapeshifting immortal cop who assumes the role of a little indian girl to break up a terrorist ring

A World Without Men - a dystopian piece about the last group of men on earth

My own biography.

Worth Fighting For - sequel to Unreachable

Courtney's Emails - Wrestling Against Myself from Courtney's perspective and without the religious underpinnings.

and many more.

Just looking for support and love. (and the 50th review on Unreachable, been stuck at 49 for ever and it's driving me nuts)

Seems you have enough

I don't see how you can say "I still have faith in my ability and think several of my TG novels are some of the best literature out there. " and then claim the need for motivation. If you believe you are great, how would we motivate you to do greater?

If I could, I would for many of us here ...

Motivation is a kind of funny thing, it has its own twists and turns, never seeming to follow one path and seldom on anyone’s timetable. I have stories I want to write, but I have not progressed on them, instead the last three years have been spent trying to solve the family history of the last three hundred years. My mother got me on this on a simple request to try to find one ancestor’s father and mother. Well I found his wife’s but still not his and in the process have tied together over three hundred family members. Sadly she passed on last October with out my answer even what I have now.

Still I will return to these stories, they are asking me to be set free, no one else can bring them forth, indeed no one has even asked.

Motivation, if not for Maslow’s first few levels, is driven by ourselves. I like your work but you are the only one who can provide motivation to produce more.
