I have enjoyed reading many, even most, of what is offered on this site.
However, I have to say that the one that touched me the most, the one that I've
enjoyed reading over and over, has been The Mask, by Carmenica Diaz.
I have written to her and told her how much that I've enjoyed this story and,
while she has thanked me for my comments, I don't feel that she fully appreciates
how much this particular offering has meant to me.
Perhaps I am merely a sentimental fool.
If only real life, my life, had been, or could be, like that.
Ah, well.....

I think life and things have her down. I believe she is pleased at the praise, but really isn't in a place right now to comfortably respond.
BTW: It's one of my favs also, which is what led us to exchange a few emails. I really hope things get better for her.
