When doing Amazon searches

I had an interesting question and I think it might help other authors who also publish on Kindle (I'm hard at work at a brand new novel which is why I haven't posted anything here for a while and after 100k words decided things will work better if I made it first person so it's going to be a while since I haven't even finished the plot yet).

If you shop on Amazon I wonder what words do you put in to search for. Would it be beneficial if authors who also post on Big Closet put in a Big Closet keyword to make them easier to find. I know that Tanya Allan, Karen Bishop, and a few others have posted books on Kindle and I think they want to be found as well.

Also, what do you look for in book descriptions before you buy. Do you need to know what kind of story it is, do you want to know if it's magic transformation? Do you want to see if it's real life, do you need the tag. Do you put in M2F? I would like to know so I can better market myself but I think others would find it useful.

Lastly. I have an idea for an erotic tale. Should I use my author name that I have been using or should I create a new name since this is such a departure for me. Also, do stories about middle and high schoolers appeal to you or do you want to see more adults. I am loaded with questions.

You should definately create

You should definately create a new name a childs book author should NOT have a anything remotely "adult" associated with them

Oh and i wont read any story where the character are 14 or younger and have adult themes.

In my opinion its child abuse and should be classified as child porn.

Justy opinion.

Where in the hell in my post did you see anything about erotica involving children? The story I'm going to write that is erotic is about me and my BF Felix and it probably isn't going to be highly sexual but I envision having a sex scene at the end. Since I am 38 and Felix is 32 I think we are consenting adults.

So since I didn't mention anything about children and sex together and since the only time I ever put the two together was to show how sick and wrong it was, I don't know why you would make such a statement and I am highly offended.

Writing is what you do when you put pen to paper, being an author is what you do when you bring words to life

Easy to misinterpret but

She talks about erotic stories in one sentence, then asks if you want to read about middle school kids in the next. The only connection between the first and second sentence is asking about departures from her earlier writing. Would you like to see erotic, OR young teen, teen, or other adult stories; or should she just continue to write kids stories.
