I wanted to let you all know that A Different Kind of Life is now on sale at Amazon as an e-book. A Different Kind of Life

It cost 2.99 (which is cheaper than my other books but this one is only 70k words instead of 150k)

As usual, there is a version of the story on the site that I posted years ago. This is a more polished version and I edited it within an inch of its life. There is no new content (though I toyed with adding a chapter)

If you want to add it to your kindle library, feel free. If you want to show some support to a fledgling author who is really trying hard to be an educated voice that preaches acceptance through her books, you can leave an honest review (by that I mean you read the work and rate me on my merit, don't just give me 5 or 1 stars because you like or hate me as a person) and like the page.
