Christopher Leeson's Noel isn't exactly a traditional Christmas story. And yet, in many ways, it is the perfect Christmas story, being about redemption. It's also one of the stories that convinced me that the net was a wonderful place to discover and display actual well-written fiction and so led almost directly to the founding of BigCloset as a site for displaying and discovering TG fiction.

I invite you all to read or re-read this story by clicking on the link above. It's like the beautiful angel at the top of the Christmas tree, sparkling and shining and reminding us of something we sometimes forget, especially in the middle of the holidays that are supposed to remind us of that very thing. You may find a few tears your soul had forgotten about while reading, they will likely be tears of joyful sorrow.

Hugs to all, and to all a Good Night,
Happy Christmas,
Erin

The Prodigal

Noel and Scott Ramsay's 'The Prodigal' are both wonderful stories, definitely top 2 material. I can't speak highly enough of both of them although The Prodigal in particular has me in floods of tears by the end.

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

This is just one of those stories,

That you go back to again and again. Wonderfully executed, beautifully drawn and yes it was the same as drawn with the images it brought to mind for me. From the depths to the heights and showing that redemption is possible for just about anyone.
